I had KFC in Thailand once, and it was very bony, not much meat and a lot more crispy spices to hide the poor quality, altogether it was of very poor standard compared with the Australian version, although the French fries were of the same quality as Australia.
I have never had McDonalds in Thailand, so I will not comment.
Instead of McDonald and KFC I prefer Thailand's own Restaurant chain, MK Restaurants, it is far better quality but it is a bit on the pricey side.
I have also been to many cheap Thai Restaurants in Thailand and there great, good value for money.
Next time I go to Thailand, I'm going to take Richard's advise from Thai Blog's and try some more of the street venders food, as I here that is very good value and very tasty.
