I'm from the USA, and had the KFC in Bangkok, and the McDonald's in Phuket. Both were good. The KFC was different than the USA but tasty. The McDonalds was the same and their fries are best. KFC doesn't have fries in the USA, just mashed potatoes and gravy.

KFC does have wedge cut and battered fries here in California. Fries at McDonalds in Thailand are better than the ones here in the states. I believe they use a different oil to fry them in. The fries at KFC in Thailand just aren't as good IMO.
