About Australian convicts, only a small minority of english migration were convicts, which occured for a short period of time when Australia was first settled.
Australia had the best percapiter economy in the world from 1820 up till 1968, now it is ranked number seven, it has gone down hill ever since we had the mass migration of none british people.
