One of my highlights when going to Thailand, is going for a stroll down "Walking Street Pattaya", with my Thai friends. The vibrant feel excites me, viewing the sights, listening to the music, people watching while having a soft drink (well I don't drink alcohol) and having some thing to eat.
Now I have been hearing roomers, that because the real-estate is becoming more and more valuable, that they want to close Walking Street Pattaya and replace it with Hotels and condominiums.
Now I have herd the time period for Walking Street to close, could be as soon as late 2006 or early 2007.
Now how do the people on this forum feel about this situation, how would you feel if Walking Street Closed down, as I know, to some people this is the only form of regular exercise they get when in Thailand. Has any one else herd about these roomers.
Very worried.
