As I live close to Norwich I always fly from Norwich.I have only on 1 occasion flown from another airport and that was Heathrow.I had to leave about 5 hours or so before my flight,whereas a flight from norwich,is only 30 mins away and you can check in 30 mins before the flight.it might be a little more expensive but trust me,I have been to Thailand loads of times and it is so convenient.Thailand is 12 hours away from us and I would not advise a really cheap ticket as you will probably have to change loads of times and take more than 24 hours to get there.
