I was talking about total journey time which includes traveling to the Airport.Norwich to heathrow is at least 3 hours,you have to check in 2 and a half hours before the flight.This is 5 and a half hour already before you have even got on the plane!!!If you then had to make another stop at another Airport you would have to then transfer and probably wait several hours for the connecting flight and if it was a really cheap ticket you would maybe have to stop again.So you see my calculation was not as rediculous as you think.Also it takes 11 hours + from Amsterdam - Bangkok.How did you manage to do it from Cardiff with a transfer and waiting for your connecting flight and also travelling to Cardiff airport and check in time etc?
