Default More plugging in
The earlier post Plugging In addresses the question of taking USian appliances (110) to Thailand and how to deal with the power difference.

The question here is: What do Thais (and others abroad) do when they want to use their Thai appliances (220~240) in the United States? Specifically, how do they/you recharge your Thai cell phone?

RadioShack electronics store has a couple of step-up converters that range from US$80-$115 (3,200-4,600 baht)! Are such converters available cheaper in Thailand? If so, where? If not, what do Thai people do in such a situation?
