On My girlfriends birthday (New years eve), I decided to do what I had been secretly debating and planning for almost a year. I proposed. Any of you with a very good memory might remember when I wrote about our first anniversary (of having met) which ended rather horribly as she was run down by a motorbike and her hip broken in two places (in six days it will have been a year ago).
Anyway, she is fully recovered and very happy as we went to see the monks and the date for ceremony was decided. A rather fast approaching 20th-21st wedding is on it's way!

ps have you ever thought about the english to 'tie the knot' and in thai culture you get string tied around your wrist. what a coincedence
