Hi Sawadee!! Great music from Taxi - what an idea - I listenend "kit teung chun mai wae-laa tee ter", beautiful song and the translation in English makes understanding possible for me. Yesterday I ordered the CD "Thai for beginners" from your website and I bought a log-inn in
Thaitrainer111 ( a German-made online-learning programm).
Never thought about learning by music - thank you for that
suggestion, I think that way of learning will go fast.
I'd like to become as Thai as possible though as giant western female I can do the best I can but will never get the natural elegancy and beauty as Thai women have:-) but at least I can do my very best to speak and write the language from my chosen Homeland. I plan to do my shopping at the local market every morning - if possible with a Thai friend -
and I want to learn the first beginnings of Thai cooking with
all the fresh, wonderfull available local products.
We are gonna live in a kind-of-farang-compound, I sincerely
hope some Thai women live there too to teach me what the
do's and the do'nts are in Thailand.
We, the Dutch are rather rude and clumsy compared to Asian
people and huge and giant.
I was in Inner-China this summer and the local babys all cried
when I just looked at them, the little children pointed their finger at me and laughed their ass off.
Well, as you hear a new life will begin for us and I love to
experience all those new and exciting things.
If you have some good tips for me or new idea's, please let me know.
Thank you for your help, have a nice day, kind regards,
Florijntje
