There are quite a few language schools around for learning Thai. You won't have a problem.

They usually advertise in the Bangkok Post and The Nation. It will probably cost you 100-400 baht per hour depending on whether you are studying as a group or alone.
As for working, it is not easy as a foreigner to get a job. Most people working for international companies are recruited in their home country. It is possible to be an English teacher, but to get a work permit you need a degree and you should preferably be a native English speaker.
