Welcome to the club. I used to wrack my brains trying to figure out what to bring my mother and sister in-law when I go to Thailand. here are some suggestions.
1) A higher end watch with a colored face, such as Fossil. If you know her favorite color that's a bonus.
2) An article of clothing such as a nice blouse or sweater. Try and find one that is made in America.
3) Higher end perfume. Not top of the line but, a brand that is percieved as high status.
4) A makeup set that has everything, lipstick, eyeliner, nail polish, the works. Again, color is important here.
