Hello,

I'm seriously interested in getting a Thai traditional tattoo called a Sak Yan (ÊÑ¡ÂÑ¹µì). I know of an annual festival at a wat near Bkk where one can get it done, but it is only in March of each year, which I missed.

So, the temple I know as Wat Bang Phra(i think) 50kms out of Bkk, can someone come in off the street and ask for one done in exchange for alms?

Does anybody know of any wats, or persons, in the North of Thailand doing this kind of tattooing, not just your average tattoo shop.

Have you had one done?

Are there any good websites about this tye of tattooing?
