Adrian, if you have anything, please add, I would like to hear because I do have friends who have partners who threaten suicide and even know a person who has attempted. Although it happens all around me, I never can understand the reason where these people would be driven to such a sense of hopelessness that they would actually end their lives. (The latter part refering to people who do the real deed and not the attention seekers.)

I mean look at the starving people who live in refugee camps in the middle east and some parts of Africa. They only own the very clothes on them and have no means to secure the coming days food, yet they strive to live on with hope of a better future. (At least that's what I think...)

I just can't understand suicide...
