Sawadee khrap. Unlike in the west, the idea is to go out of your way to do what is most proper and respectful. Feet are a big deal and your feet should be covered. If you sit on the floor, sit on your feet and do not allow them to point at the monks, images, etc. Remember, a temple is just like a church in the west.
