Oct 11 trial for woman who ran amok with samurai sword near PM's Dept

PUTRAJAYA: The Sessions Court set Oct 11 for the trial of a woman who ran amok with a samurai sword near the Prime Minister's Office in July.

Muhdalena Ahmad, 28, was charged with committing criminal intimidation and possession of a sword at Kompleks B, Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Presint 1 here about 2.30pm on July 9.

She allegedly committed the offences with Khalil Afendi who later died of injuries after being shot by police.

Muhdalena is on bail of RM10,000 with one surety.

Judge Mohamed Kamil Nizam also set Sep 28 for mention of the last case management before trial.

Muhdalena was seen exiting the court with her father and wearing a yellow Power Ranger mask.
