I think use of fake products is due to poor QC. The ipod, iphone and ipads all seem to be very very well made and all comes from China.

So it all depends of QC.

Inferior parts still ok at times. Fake parts sure mati. If eggs, soy sauce etc they are into fakes, surely they will produce fakes for expensive items like spare parts of planes.
