I would have done the same thing.

One, you don't want the Islamic nuts saying he was not given a speedy burial according to their religion.

Two, you don't want his body sitting someplace where the nuts can go camp out and make a shrine.

Burial at see seems like the right move. That or feed him to the pigs...

Probably all true but now this story is ripe for the conspricacy people to start churning. I can just see the headlines now - "Is Osama really Dead? OBL death is questionsed after friend of mother of helicopter refueling techinician speaks out."
