Iranian analyst warns of brutality in Tehran
The World Today - Iranian analyst warns of brutality in Tehran 17/02/2011
Iran's supreme leader the Ayatollah Khamenei is now calling for mass counter demonstrations on Friday to show what he calls the people's "hatred" of the opposition protesters who are demanding more radical change than the 2009 demonstrators.
But an Iranian analyst warns that Iran is not Egypt and that the army will have no qualms about crushing the revolt.
I think that Iran is a really, really difficult case and it can't be compared to Egypt. But I think that you know the population is changing and we're not looking at you know an uprising that would happen next year for example. I wouldn't expect that.
