In fairness our beef isn't with Iran's citizens but with the wacko president, ayatumah, and the revolutionary guards. After they
allowed the US embassy hostages to leave any dispute should have been closed, but they chose to denigrate the US at
every opportunity while burning the stars & stripes by the dozens during fanatical chants of "great satan".

So we should beat our war drums b/ they burn the stars & stripes and call US the great satan? You just described 75% of the radical left .. should we attack them as well?

As regards Iran surrounding the US recall they couldn't even subdue Iraq.

That said .... if they did surround our country with their troops; how would we react?
