I'm wondering if maybe we should go over there and bomb protesters to prevent oil prices from increasing? When and if they do go up, will we come up with a reason to put down these protests?

Thats a bit tongue in cheek, but after all we're pretty much the ones that have supported these regimes for years. Its part and parcel of the whole "we want democracy for everyone, unless lobbyists tell us we don't."
