This is the end result of absurd open-ended limited conflicts camouflaged as war, similar to Vietnam with incidents like My Lai. Whether you believe in these ‘war’ or not; most give our troops lots of leeway in hell holes like Aftghan, Iraq, and other oversees adventures considering the time, tours, & rules of engagements.

That said; these are as morally corrupt a series of war crimes you can commit. They should pay for their sins b/ what they did was wrong & was illegal under the UCMJ. This will also have a huge political and moral cost on our country and armed forces.
