Before we invaded a country that posed no threat to us Iraq and Iran sort of balanced themselves out. Each was afraid of the other. Now Iran has much more influence in the region. It also showed that we were a paper tiger that could not take care of business in Afghanistan because we were up to our necks in Iraq. We have lost in excess of 4,400 military troops and over 50,000 wounded and no one knows how many will have mental problems. Of the three countries in the Axis of Evil Bush attacked the one that had no viable nuclear program. Way to go Bush. I hope I'm wrong but I believe that if things remain the same Iraq will fall to Iran within five years and all we did will be a waste.

You are a rolling contradiction with your caring about the Iraq people and advocating killing all Muslims in another post. It's all about the oil. We should treat energy independence like the national emergency that it is and get the hell out of that mess and let them sort themselves out.
Incorrect. Just the Muslims(millions) who want me & you dead, The ones who want to Kill Americans because a book of fairy tales gets burned. The ones who plan bombings and shoot are troops home & abroad.
Do I care about the people in Iraq was not the quesion, feelings have nothing to do with it. Are they better off? YES, much better.
The reason we look soft is because our leader is soft. He bows down to Muslim leaders in submission. He talks the talk but does nothing.
This weak admin. rather send letters to the UN crying about human rights in America then stop a terrorist supporting iman from buliding a victory tower at ground 0.

As long as America is in Iraq, Iran has no chance of doing anything. I'm sure you hope this happens so you can blame GW Bush. Like the President does. But yet our President is sitting by while they build nuclear missiles.
