37.5% alcohol? In Slovakia they say "slabo" (weak). If it's not at least 50% alcohol it's not palanka.

that's the minimum alcohol concentration it has to have to be called palinka. i went to a palinka tasting while in budapest and didn't find the ones with more alcohol to be "better".
