The only Nazi leader that was important was Hitler and he clearly was upset. Hitler had told Heydrich and others to stop riding around in open top cars but Heydrich ignored the request/order. The commandos used machine guns and grenades in the attack but Heydrich was not seriously wounded got out of his car and returned fire.

While I was in Prague an historian put forth the theory that the commandos used biological weapons. Stating that the grenades had salmonella in them which would explain the delay in his death.
