The only reason these two are back on US soil is beacuse they are wealthy. Laura Ling is sister of Lisa Ling, television host and comes from a very rich family. If they were middle class people, sure as hell they would have served the full sentence.

The rich helping the rich....at taxpayer expenses to boot!

Your source that says taxpayer money was used ? The Jet was owned and supplied by a private company.
