There probably is no easy answer but in the long run a collapse may be the best option.
Much like Pakistan, there are many things that could happen, none of which are good.
If the KFR indeed falls, you can expect somewhere in the order of 5 million NorKs flooding across both the Yangtze River and the DMZ.
And these won't be shiny eyed, supllicant, refugees. These are going to be crazed, violent, paranoid, hordes intent on raping and sacking anything they can find.
I don't know what would be worse: the NorK hordes or the KFR unleashing their artillery on Seoul.
