They're blaming us even though the White House immediately condemned the bombing.
Good. They're getting (more) desperate. The Iranian people know the government is constantly BS'ing them, and they're still pissed about the fraudulent election.

I don't think they really want to be friends. Parts of the government definietly do not (notice that the statement came from the head of parliament, not the President or one of the religious leaders), but if there is one thing that our policy towards Iran and Cuba has proved, it's that the "silent treatment" doesn't work.
