You know perfectly well that calling global warming a "religion" makes as much sense as calling it a "department store" or a "Cheeseburger."
Thanks, but face it: Some people are fanatical about it. Of course, there are people who are fanatical about anything and everything, but Global Warming is being pushed as if it were indisputable fact - never mind there are quite a lot of researchers who do dispute both whether it's man-made or whether it even exists at all. The point is, I'm not saying at all that I believe it to be a religion; what I am saying it that it has gained a religious-like following with some as though climate change theory is gospel and any significant dispute is heresy. The citation of the now-retracted Talking Points Memo article indicates to me that, as with the abortion issue, more fanatics are coming out of the woodwork.
