I was in Greece shortly after they passed their smoking ban - for the third time.

They are a bit more lax on the issue. The tavernas put the "no smoking" sign on the tables in the restaurants, but all you have to do is light up a cigarette and the waitress comes by takes the sign away & leaves an ashtray.
