Is doing something about this situation in Haiti a requirement before posting about Haiti ( or jumping on Bob ) ? Because, in reality, very few people can do anything about it, but it doesn't take away the fact that we feel sad and frustrated about the situation.
I don't want to pick a fight, but I have to disagree with you (but in a nice way, I hope).

We ALL CAN do something about it: we can make sure this story gets repeated outside of Haiti, by emailing our friends in other parts of the world. I realize it is a small gesture, but when enough people hear about it, they will speak up, and with enough people speaking up, something like this can be confronted.

Perhaps, just perhaps, we could convince one of the nations who have not yet fulfilled their contribution to fund an agency that will deal with victims of sexual crimes.

So please forward this information to as many people as you can, especially those who do not live on Hispaniola, and ask them to contact their governments.
