民主黨 創黨主席李柱銘 ，對民主黨黨員大會，通過接納區議會 改良方案感到失望。他表示，暫時未決定是否退黨，會放假兩星期，好好思考。
李柱銘表示，本來希望民主黨將今日的討論押後兩星期，他話不相信政府不會亦押後議會討論兩個星期。李柱銘說 ，以前民主黨經常批評政府，但今次是有史以來，用最短時間要作出一個決定，他說特首昨日中午至表態，民主黨 晚上就要作決定，是太倉卒。
