No worries mate, glad that you are alright. Yes, in this country we help out each other.

There is nothing like a Severe Storm to bring out the goodness in Perth people. My suburb, Mt Lawley, was hit directly by the perfect hailstorm during the first and second Cold Front.

Last night, neighbours check on each other in the lul of the storm, with offers of garbage bags and tapes to seal broken windows as we prepared for the 3rd Cold Front to hit us. Luckily, the 3rd Cold Front was weak in this area.

Today, this place is like a construction site, with people doing repairs to broken windows/tiles. State Emergency Services out to clear trees. WP repairing down elect poles. There is nothing like the Aussie spirit to carry the people through the worst storm in 16 years.

You see tattooed people offering help. In Singapore, this will not happen. Everyone will be waiting for govt for help to come.
