The social policies that were implemented by him really helped the poor by redistributing the petroleum riches to the people and that is the reason of his undisputed popularity amongst the poor. The usual retinue of leeches aka the old set of oligarchy will want to see his demise to the extend of aiding the USA to try to depose him. CIA failed and he became the biggest bogeyman of latin America. I really think he is a good revolutionary and visionary leader that is evoluting in that part of the world since now the Monroe's Doctrine is truly dead and buried.
