When gov dont have money, they raise tax. Very simple. At least they fail maths only

PAP goven worse, they can tell you raising GST helps the poor. What is worse than no logic, and heartless?

The PAP passed all their technical subjects and failed the human ones ... such as honestly (their favourite subject), "rule of law" (as long as it is applied on others, but not themselves) and listening/reading/speaking skills.

Logic is when Ho Ching was awarded for losing million$.

Just remember, a government that starts doing things without logic is trying to hide something big.
