East Van shooting leaves 1 dead

Shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Vancouver Police found a man shot to death in a basement suite apartment in the 3100-block of Nanaimo Street.

Insp. Mike Cumberworth, of the Vancouver Police Department are appealing for witnesses.

Police have not released the name of the victim or if they have made any arrests.

This is Metro Vancouver ninth shooting in ten days.
