Guns are everywhere and sentences for firearms offences are light. If you get arrested today, you can get bail and go home by the next day, if not the same evening.

This is just crazy.

Is it just BC that has soft laws on firearms? How is safety in general? Do you feel safe? Do the RCMP need to wear bulletproof vests?

Do you think I should advise my friend's son to take care. He is thinking of doing a 6 month working holidays at the Big White for the next ski season.
