No. Keeping wildlife is illegal. But back in those days when South Africa recognise Taiwan, rich Taiwanese are known to import the big cats to protect their houses in Taiwan.

Think so, so we have the Cape Malay curry, Pianang Sauce, etc in Cape Town.
