I'd been aware of it for some time, but hadn't really known anything about it.

It was recently, seeing threads about it quite regularly on book forums, that I decided that it was about time that I ordered it.

It's pretty much how I buy books these days – when I remember titles/authors or read about one's that I don't know and am interested in, I order them on Amazon, even if it's then some time before I actually get around to the book itself.

Perfume I read very quickly – and can well see myself reading it again sometime in the future.

I had a copy of S?skind's play, Double Bass, but it was culled (unread) some time ago. Which is now annoying.
