I have been thinking for sometimes about reading Amis, anybody could give some ideas on where to start? I'd say start, and finish, before 2000. The Rachel Papers is a good starting point (it was his), but if you want the best, IMHO London Fields is hard to beat. (I think Time's Arrow overrated, The Information underrated) And tops among the nonfiction, for me, were The Moronic Inferno and Visiting Mrs Nabokov.
