Quick note for Eric: he sells as much as Am?lie Nothomb.
The inside cover notes that this book has sold over a million copies worldwide. It certainly seems the over sentimental nonsense that many emotional types would label a tearjerker and trot out the old clich? about having a hankie nearby. Utter tosh, I say! I can well believe he sells as much:
The Alchemist
did the same. And for some reason, being only loosely aware of the contents, Mitch Albom's
The Five People You Meet In Heaven
springs to mind.
