I think that has to do with karma issues from past lives Nat, those hard situations will help them learn the powerful lessons they need to embody in themselves.. Just like some souls choose to live with some sort of disease that prevents them from talking, seeing or listening or some other type of disorder.. Unfortunatelly, I do have a cousin of my age that has a mental disease, she can't walk, talk, barelly listens.. Just today I was thinking about this, why would she choose to live a life like this...
