Carl…after reading your post, I was just a “tad” confused, so please allow me to breakdown what I understand you have said.

1. You dislike Americans, but not all Americans, just some Americans.
2. You dislike America, but you want to become one to enjoy the materialism our country has to offer.
3. You brand today’s Americans with the “sins of their fathers”…if that is the case, what people on this planet would NOT invoke this “hate” you so deeply feel?

I am born of Irish/Cherokee and Dutch/Apache parents…how they found each other is a long story. So, through my veins run the blood of Europeans and Native Americans. My parents taught me that all people are to be respected unless given cause not to do so. One’s skin color, religious beliefs or lack thereof was never ridiculed, but honored.

I have to admit that I do find your post offensive, not to say so would be a terrible omission on my part.

I do hope you replace that “hate” with “love” one day.
