I've got to jump in on this one.

Extraterrestrial: originating, existing, or occurring outside the earth or its atmosphere. Also, the planets outside of Mars's orbit.

So is the Other Side "outside" or merely "over."

Aliens? I have never talked to any of the other lifeforms in our dimensional universe, but I have been told that they are there.

The only thing I've ever tapped into that was completely removed from anything Earthly was this crazy intense wonderful energy source that came to me in representation of the deity a friend of mine works with frequently. There really wasn't communication other than showing me a vision of a tree to validate the reading, but it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had yet.
