I'd love to agree that it doesn't matter, but unfortunately for me, it really does. I've lost a great friend to my honesty, and that matters. I will not judge her for not believing, but it has affected our communication, which has affected our friendship. I'd love to say, "If you believe me, okay. And if you don't, no big deal." She seriously thinks I'm psycho now and every time we talk she mentions me getting professional help. So in a lot of ways it does matter what others think. I've decided to heavily filter the information I give out when it comes to what I am doing in my personal life now.
