Running, the best advice from my counselor was: Give yourself a gift of time. Don't push yourself into anything. If he is for real, it'll be for real 3 years from now. I'm just wondering about one thing: Is he pushing you into something you are not ready for? If he does, then looks are not the problem, you have bigger issue there.
