My problem with telekenesis is that i get so excited when it moves just a hair that i loose my concentration. lol
Telekinesis is not one of those skills that everyone can perform . Telekinesis is quite hard to accomplish and only those with real determination are ever capable to move an object, read a mind or even levitate.
A) It's not certain that you will ever become telekinetic. Some people have more mind power than others, deal with it. Someone with a very strong mind may develop telekinesis in a few weeks. Someone with a weak mind may learn telekinesis in years .
B) It takes hundreds or thousands of hours to develop telekinesis to a point where you can actually do something useful with it. If you lack determination, don't even try.
C) There is a reason why readers develop telekinesis faster than non-readers: They can concentrate better. The same applies to mathematicians, astronomers, chess players, etc. Anyone who has the ability to concentrate and think of nothing but his or her goal is much more apt to develop telekinesis. If you don't like to read because it "bores" you, then telekinesis might not be for you at all. 99% of those who develop telekinesis are readers as well.
If you are not sure whether you want to learn telekinesis or not by this point, then don't. You will most likely quit.
Exercises
Preparation
Unless noted otherwise, you should always prepare with this exercise before attempting any of the following telekinesis exercises.
-Be in a quiet place where nobody will disrupt you. The place should be preferably outdoors with no annoyances such as the Sun, extreme heat or cold or even insects.
-Breathe. Inhale and exhale many times. Do it slowly; when you inhale let your lungs be filled with air and exhale the air slowly. Repeat at least ten times, but preferably until you are relaxed.
-Think about nothing but your own body. You shouldn't think about any problems, family, jobs; JUST your body. Begin by focusing your attention on your feet, then move your attention gradually up eventually reaching your knees, arms and finally your head. When you think about one part of your body tense it as much as possible and then relieve the pressure. This will relax you.
-While you are performing one of the exercises below, remember not to think about anything other than the exercise itself. It's called concentration which will help you tremendously to develop telekinesis sooner.
The Bowl
This is one easy and yet effective way to learn telekinesis. Fill a bowl with water and place some light object that wont sink on top of it. Now, focus all your attention in trying to move that object in the direction you choose. At first, try to move that object with your eyes, as if it obeyed you.
Then think about an invisible hand that is grabbing the object and making it move. DO NOT THINK ABOUT anything else while you're doing this. Think that someone is making that object move in a specific direction. If it begins to move, it's a good sign. If it doesn't, it just means that you need more practice.
When you can make the object move at will, you are ready to move to harder exercises such as the ones listed below. This is, by far, the easiest exercise. Don't be depressed if you can't move the object, just practice more.
The Pencil
This one is a bit harder to perform. All you need is a pencil and your brain. Place a pencil on your desk and focus all your attention on it. Try to make it roll in a straight line obviously without touching it; only use your mind. If you can make it move regardless of how speedy, you have succeeded. Keep practicing this one for a while. It may happen that one day you can make the pencil roll, but not the next. All I can say is that the mind works in mysterious ways! A somewhat related video is located here.
The Flame
What you need: A candle and fire.
Lit the candle and place it somewhere with no wind. Now, look at it for a while and try to make it dance. After thirty minutes you will feel very connected to the flame. Try to make the flame move to wherever you want. It may take you a while to do it, but you eventually will. If the glare bothers you, find a smaller candle. This is an exercise that you cannot ignore since it's not very hard but not very easy either.
The Bottle
For this exercise, you will need a bottle. Any bottle is fine, but it needs to have a plastic lid. Perforate the lid with a hot needle, then cut a string so it's a bit longer than the distance from the lid to the middle of the bottle. At the end of the string, make a knot and pass the other end through the lid all the way to the middle of the bottle. Now, pull the lid and tie something heavy to the free end of the string such as a rock or whatever you can think of. Make sure it's heavy and symmetrically tied. Pass it into the bottom, close the lid and your "telekinesis bottle" is ready.
This is an excellent exercise. Once the lid is closed, there should be no turbulence inside the bottle coming from air so you can measure your telekinesis capabilities more closely. Focus all your attention in the object inside the bottle without thinking about anything else. Try to move it. Keep trying.

I think telekenesis helps one to learn to FOCUS.
It helps to learn CONTROL.
It helps to learn PATIENCE.
It helps to learn to focus on our ENERGIES.
It then helps us in many other metphysical aspects as channelling energy to others, to nature, to animals.
And almost all of us need to learn more patience and not to give up so early out of pure frustration. (I may actually learn that one some day ...but I doubt it lol)
