This might sound off the wall but remember, we are the creators of our universe. Whatever we believe we can and will manifest. I personally do not believe in "evil spirits" although I do believe that there is negative energy manifested by all energy forms. I know that sounds like the same thing but we are all made up of positive and negative energy in our earth reality because of the polarity here. There can be two good reasons for attacting the negative form of anything to you, like attracting like or opposites attracting. It seems to me that you already have the gift of discernment of what type of energy is being manifested so you have a head start over a lot of people. I sense a fear that you will encounter these energies and that it is something that you have learnt as you grew older. Trust in spirit to guide you to encounter only the highest forms of energy and you can break away from the "lower realms" that you create with your learning that they have to exist. Once you have the confidence that you can create higher forms of energy, your fear of the lower forms will diminish and no longer exist in your world. That energy will just attach it to some one who wants to continue a belief in it. In our reality, we always have a polarity but how low it goes and how high it goes it something that you can choose to create and live within.
