The Dreaded Holiday Turmoil
We smile and share in exchanging a big "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!" when you know, deep in the back of your mind, your just cringing and waiting for something to happen, and you know it will... for it always does.....
You wish just for one year, there would be no family
..., or a disaster..
1 - you have gotten everyone something, who was on your list...
2 - you have enough food to feed an army
3 - you never forgot to send a Christmas card to anyone, even though you hardly ever see them, but you know if you don't, you'll be talked about!!!!
4 - Its your turn to do Christmas dinner, you hope you don't burn the dinner, poison anyone... and you follow the receipt exactly how it was written.
I was brought into a discussion recently, why things go hay wire around the holiday season....
Well my reply was, well its the same for me, I recently have been put to the test, but I knew that I had spirit with me helping me and guiding me, even tho at times I didn't see it or feel it....
To achieve what I desired and to regain peace... I had to suffer consequences as well as the people involved... and looking back at it, its all a learning process and to help us to grow stronger and move forward. Its sad and heart wrenching because it happened this time of year... but also at this time of year we are also reminded that we have a lot to be grateful for, we have done some good this year no matter how big or small... As there are less fortunate people in the world who are worse off then what were are....
Blessings and Peace and Prayer be sent out to all the people in this world who are in need.....!
Has anyone got a Holiday story they wish to share, or just an experience serious or funny....
Love to hear from you...
Blessings and Peace
