Blessings, Peace and Prayers indeed.
I don't know if anyone knows this story but: There was a man who lost his family in a freak accident this December the 8th. A fighter jet crashed into his home about three hourse after he kissed his family goodbye for the day and went to work. The crash resulted in the deaths of his wife, his two baby girls, and his mother in law who was visiting from Korea to help care for the new 2 month old. The man doesn't blame the pilot(who ejected) of the craft and actually asked that people pray for him so that he doesn't have to endure the suffering and guilt from what happened.
Here's the article

How's that for a Merry Christmas. I hope he gets through this because he is obviously very strong, and obviously a very kind, good-willed person. No one deserves for that to happen to them.
I sent him a letter.. it wasn't perfect but I hope the love I sent with it can give him some comfort somewhere inside. I also shared this story with my class at school and asked if they would all write letters, and they did. I was so happy because most of the time the kids at my school are very troubled because of their own problems and are unable to step out of themselves in order to be mature and reach out to someone else. They're teenegers too, but they really did what they could to try reaching out with love to this man.
...
I dunno.. i figured this might be appropriate to share here because it was around Christmas time this year and to remind us to not take our families for granted.
