Arbaracy, I find that if you are empathic it can become a problem, which I am.

Since I am empathic I access my higher self, then I ground myself to mother earth. I then say a grounding prayer and I place a white light bubble around and expand it five feet around me. Grounding is not enough for me so I also say the "Staying Grounded" affirmation.

Staying Grounded Affirmation
There are many powerful ways to stay grounded, centered, balanced, and in control. Walking around barefoot or imagining a cord reaching deep into the earth-this is not being grounded in Spirit. Grounding is uniting with God, with the true nature of your being. Here is an affirmation to help you stay grounded and centered in Spirit:
I AM blessed and beloved. My heart soars into Spirit.
I AM a beloved being of great power, great light, energy and glory.
I AM a beauteous being, a radiant being of light.
I AM lifted into the light of God. I AM established and grounded in the true nature of my being. God is within me. God lives, breathes, moves and has its being in me and through me.
I AM a beloved being of great power, great light and great glory.
I AM filled with love, filled with peace, and filled with power.
God's healing light fills and surrounds me now.
God's healing energy lifts my vibration now and fills me with peace.
I AM a beloved being of great light and great energy.
I trust in this and know that I AM loved. I AM filled with love and light.
God's radiant sphere of divine energy
Now grounds me in God's holy presence.
This is the holy presence that I AM grounded in.
